Who can attend the Summit?
Franchisees, spouses, and 1 manager per store can attend the Summit meetings and meals. Since this is a business-focused event, no children will attend the sessions or meals.
What is the attire?
The recommended attire is business casual. For men, slacks/jeans and polo/golf/button-down shirts are recommended. No jackets or ties. For women, use your discretion within the wide range of business casual.
What are the COVID safety protocols for the conference city and venue?
We are closely monitoring the evolving situation with COVID-19, the Omicron variant, CDC guidelines, and local ordinances, and will keep you updated as we get closer to the Conference.

What time do I need to arrive on Monday February 28? What time will the Summit end on Wednesday March 2?
The Welcome Reception will begin at 6:30 pm on Monday, February 28. Please book your flights to arrive in San Diego before 4:30 pm, if possible, to allow time for transport to the hotel and check-in. The Closing Session will conclude by 12:00 pm on Wednesday, March 2. Please book flights departing San Diego International Airport (SAN) no earlier than 1:45 pm, if possible.
Ground transportation & parking: does the hotel have parking?
If you are flying in, we encourage you to use Uber, Lyft or Taxi to get from the airport to the hotel. The hotel is only about 10-15 minutes away from the airport. The hotel does offer parking, and they are providing Handel’s guests a discounted rate of $15 per day. There is free street parking around the hotel for those who are driving in for the day, but not staying overnight.
How can I get a copy of the powerpoints and notes covered at Summit?
Pictures, notes, and powerpoints used at the Summit will be added to a secure page on this website after the Summit concludes.
How can I provide feedback about the Summit after it is over?
There will be a survey provided at Summit on the final day and an electronic version added to this site.
